Highlights: • Part of the O2E Brands umbrella, founded by CEO Brian Scudamore • Brian has been featured on Oprah for his leadership, Undercover Boss, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The Globe and Mail, and most recently as a Dragon on Dragon's Den! • Recognized locally as a "Most Admired Corporate Culture", a "Top 50 Small & Medium Employer", and a "Most Engaged Workplace." • Operating 60+ franchise units across the U.S. & Canada • Part of the $10 B+ exterior home services industry with 5% annual growth • 100K+ homes serviced and thousands of 5-star reviews • Major strategic shift toward membership and subscription-based services About the Role: Shack Shine is hiring a Director of Product to architect and execute one of the most important transformations in the business: the shift from a transactional home services company to a technology-enabled, membership-driven exterior home care platform. • Own the integrated product vision and execution across the Shack Shine ecosystem - customer, franchise partner, and field operations - with a mandate to maximize Lifetime Value (LTV), retention, and recurring revenue • Define how membership shows up across the full customer lifecycle and build the digital operating platform that enables predictable, profitable growth for franchise partners • Lead the end-to-end product strategy for Shack Shine's membership-based platform, transitioning the business from one-time services to recurring, high-LTV customer relationships • Design and launch a customer lifecycle platform that maximizes engagement, frequency, and average customer value through recurring membership • Partner with Software Engineering to design proactive, predictive service journeys using data science and emerging AI capabilities to anticipate needs and automate service delivery • Champion the redesign of internal and partner-facing tools into a unified Operating System that drives adoption, scalability, and franchise profitability • Build technology that empowers frontline teams, ensuring every service interaction is seamless and converts customers into long-term members • Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to deliver measurable, metric-driven business outcomes • Own the strategic product roadmap and execution, ensuring all product decisions directly support core metrics including retention, frequency, and average customer value • Operate as a hands-on, senior product leader who thrives in complexity, balancing strategic leadership with direct execution About You: You are a product leader who doesn't just manage roadmaps - you transform business models. You are a builder at heart, energized by creating useful, scalable products and owning outcomes from vision through execution. • Please note this role requires a minimum of one week/month in the office. Must be based in Vancouver. • Proven experience leading the transition from transactional or one-time revenue models to subscription or recurring revenue businesses • Strong track record building products from 0 to 1 in startup or growth-stage environments • Deep understanding of Lifetime Value (LTV), retention, and full customer lifecycle optimization • Experience building and driving adoption of products within franchise, multi-unit, or decentralized B2B2C networks • Demonstrated ability to set an integrated product vision and roadmap tied directly to core business outcomes (e.g., ARR, Services, Customer growth) • Data- and AI-informed mindset, with hands-on experience leveraging analytics, automation, and predictive capabilities to personalize and scale customer experiences • Strong technical acumen and a history of partnering closely with engineering and data teams • Ability to simplify complexity and drive clear, decisive execution in fast-scaling organizations • Comfortable operating lean, maintaining high standards of delivery with limited resources • Ownership mindset with a bias toward action and measurable results • Experience leading and developing a small, high-impact team, including a direct-report UX Designer and contractor resources as needed The Extras That Matter: • O2E Brands has been named one of Canada's Best Workplaces 14 times and made Newsweek's top 100 list of "Most Loved Workplaces," the only Canadian company • Profit-sharing opportunity • Extended health and dental benefits • Professional development and learning support • Health and wellness initiatives, including gym access at corporate HQ • High-impact role with direct influence on company-wide strategy and growth Compensation: $155,000.00 - $170,000.00 base
