Who You Are
As the Director, Corporate Recruitment, you are a senior leader and trusted advisor to the business, accountable for setting and executing enterprise-wide recruitment strategy across the Support Centre, including as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. You bring a strong point of view on talent, the market, workforce trends, and candidate experience, and you translate business strategy into high-impact hiring solutions.
You are the face of Dentalcorp in the corporate talent market - championing our culture, values, and employer brand - while ensuring every hiring interaction reflects a brilliant, respectful, and human experience. As a strategic partner to all the Support Centre teams, you lead with influence, insight, and innovation, continuously pushing beyond the status quo to attract and secure exceptional talent.
In this role, you will lead, inspire, and evolve our corporate recruitment function, balancing hands-on proactive search with long-term capability building, data-driven decision-making, and strong stakeholder partnership.
Role Responsibilities
Enterprise Recruitment Strategy & Leadership
• Own and evolve the corporate and executive recruitment strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, growth plans, and workforce needs.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, providing market insights, talent implications, and recommendations to inform hiring decisions.
• Lead and influence recruitment planning for high-impact, critical, and senior level roles, ensuring a rigorous, thoughtful, and values-aligned process.
• Act as a visible employer brand ambassador, articulating Dentalcorp’s mission, culture, and value proposition in the external talent market.
• Leverage labour market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and competitive insights to shape recruitment strategies and offers.
Senior Role Search & Candidate Experience
• Personally lead or oversee end-to-end recruitment for executive and highly specialized roles across Support Centre, ensuring discretion, quality, and consistency.
• Set the standard for an exceptional candidate experience—ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to Brilliant Experiences, from first contact through onboarding.
• Provide strategic counsel to leaders on candidate assessment, selection, and offer strategy, including complex compensation and negotiation discussions.
• Ensure assessment practices consistently evaluate both capability and values alignment.
Recruitment Operations, Governance & Analytics
• Provide oversight of recruitment operations, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
• Partner closely with HR to ensure compliant, competitive, and well-structured offers and employment agreements.
• Establish and monitor key recruitment metrics (, time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, pipeline health, executive search outcomes) to drive continuous improvement.
• Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, informing both short-term hiring decisions and long-term workforce strategy.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Capability Building
• Support in design and execution of Employer Value Proposition and Branding to design and execute targeted, high-impact recruitment campaigns.
• Collaborate with People Centres of Excellence to ensure recruitment practices reinforce leadership expectations, culture, and values.
• Play a key role in shaping and delivering License to Hire and other leader capability initiatives, elevating hiring quality across the organization.
• Use recruitment interactions as opportunities to coach leaders on assessment, decision-making, and inclusive hiring practices.
• Continuously identify and implement innovative tools, processes, and approaches to improve recruitment effectiveness and candidate engagement.
Talent Market Presence & Pipeline Development
• Build and maintain deep external networks and executive talent pipelines to support future and emerging hiring needs.
• Position Dentalcorp as an employer of choice through thought leadership, relationship building, and proactive market engagement.
What We’re Looking For
• Demonstrated success leading recruitment strategy and influencing senior leaders in complex, fast-paced organizations.
• Strong executive search capability, including direct sourcing, assessment, and offer negotiation.
• Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution where required.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and advisory skills, with high emotional intelligence.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging recruitment data and market insights to drive decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
French proficiency is an asset.
• Deep familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment technology (Workday Recruiter, Linked In Recruiter, reporting dashboards, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
