Job Summary ASA-WDS (Advanced Security Architecture & Web Defense Systems) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevSecOps Manager to lead the integration of security practices into our DevOps processes. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure development pipelines, ensuring that security is embedded at every stage of the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • DevSecOps Strategy & Implementation: • Develop and execute a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy to integrate security into all stages of the software development lifecycle. • Implement automated security testing tools and processes for continuous integration and delivery pipelines. • Leadership & Team Management: • Lead and mentor a team of DevSecOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and security-first thinking. • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of DevSecOps initiatives. • Security Integration: • Ensure the seamless integration of security tools such as SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners, and container security solutions into CI/CD pipelines. • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure. • Collaboration with Stakeholders: • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align DevSecOps practices with organizational goals. • Act as a bridge between development and security teams to ensure smooth collaboration and communication. • Automation & Tooling: • Drive the adoption of automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. • Evaluate and implement cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance DevSecOps capabilities. • Compliance & Governance: • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks. • Develop and enforce security policies, guidelines, and procedures across the organization. • Monitoring & Incident Response: • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time. • Establish incident response plans and processes to address security breaches effectively. Requirements • Experience: • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in DevOps, security engineering, or related fields, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role. • Proven track record of implementing DevSecOps practices in large-scale environments. • Education: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus. • Technical Skills: • Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps). • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including security tools and services. • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Knowledge of security tools such as OWASP ZAP, SonarQube, HashiCorp Vault, and others. • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). • Soft Skills: • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Language: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage. • Personal Attributes: • Passion for cybersecurity and continuous improvement. • Results-oriented with a proactive approach to challenges. • Commitment to fostering a security-first mindset across teams.
