DevOps Engineer _ Contract Employment Type: 12 Months Contract (Renewable) Location: Central Experience Required: Minimum 2+ Years Company: NTT DATA Singapore Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and centralized DevOps solutions within an enterprise banking environment . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD orchestration, DevOps governance, and cloud/on-prem hybrid environments. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders across development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure secure, scalable, and industry-standard DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and maintain end-to-end DevOps pipelines. • Coordinate with stakeholders from requirements gathering to successful DevOps onboarding. • Support developers in preparing JIRA deployment tickets in line with change management processes. • Setup and manage centralized CI/CD solutions aligned with industry best practices. • Upgrade and integrate DevOps tools across internal and vendor-managed platforms. • Lead root cause analysis and resolution for environment and test orchestration issues. • Manage Kubernetes deployments including pods, containers, and secret configurations. • Implement DevOps governance, security standards, and audit controls. • Configure and customize JIRA workflows and Confluence spaces. • Manage CI/CD pipelines across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. • Ensure observability, monitoring, and incident response alignment. • Drive continuous testing using modern DevSecOps practices. Technical Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or equivalent. • Experience with containerization and Kubernetes deployment processes. • Experience with OpenShift or AWS. • Strong scripting skills in Shell or Groovy. • Knowledge of build and branching strategies. • Experience managing Kubernetes secrets. • Experience with DevOps governance and security compliance. • Hands-on experience integrating SAST tools. • Experience managing hybrid cloud environments. Good to Have • Exposure to AI/ML applications. • Exposure to Big Data environments such as Hadoop, Cloudera, ElasticSearch. • Knowledge of observability platforms. • Experience with Python, Chef, Ruby or PowerShell automation.
