Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced PHP Developer to join our team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter
Good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Prior experience in a similar role
Knowledge of RESTful APIs is a plus
