We’re hiring a senior engineer to own end-to-end deployments of complex software and hardware systems in real-world, customer-facing environments. This is a high-ownership role for someone comfortable leading deployments in challenging settings, working directly with customers, and driving launches from architecture through production.
You’d be responsible for:
• Leading on-site and remote product deployments globally (≈40% travel)
• Owning system integrations and customer launches end to end
• Architecting tailored solutions that reflect real operational constraints
• Acting as the primary technical point of contact for customers
• Feeding field insights directly back into core engineering
• Deploying and managing software, hardware, and IoT systems in the field
• Writing and configuring code (primarily SQL, plus Go / Python) to support customer environments
Requirements
Seniority & Experience
• 5+ years of experience deploying complex software and/or hardware systems in production customer environments
• Proven track record operating in high-stakes, real-world deployments (not purely R&D or conceptual work)
Customer & Project Ownership
• Extensive customer-facing experience in a deployment, implementation, or solutions engineering capacity
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of high-impact projects, from architecture through launch and stabilization
• Experience delivering 7–8 figure business or operational impact is strongly preferred
Technical Background
• Hands-on engineering background in software, mechanical, robotics, or systems engineering
• Direct experience deploying and operating production systems (fielded systems, live environments, or customer sites)
• Ability to translate real-world operational constraints into technical solutions
Programming & Technical Skills
• Go (Golang): Ability to write, modify, and commit production-quality code in a Go-based codebase
• SQL: Strong proficiency; majority of system configuration and customization is database-driven
• Python: Proficient in scripting, automation, and deployment tooling
• Comfort working with complex integrations, system configuration, and field debugging
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field strongly preferred
Logistics & Work Environment
• Willingness to travel approximately 40%, including multi-week international deployments
• Ability to work in-person 5 days per week when based in Los Angeles, CA
