Job description:
This role implements Tricentis Tosca including risk coverage optimization, defining the right test – automation – access and designing required test data approaches as well as setup for Distributed Execution in line with Best Practices.
§ -Lead and implement Tosca software roll-out
§ -Implement successful initial test automation at multiple projects
§ -Define test automation strategy and test access (GUI vs. Non-UI)
§ -Embedded (agile) test methods and processes into the Test Management and Automation Tool (Tosca)
§ -Actively contribute to sharing testing and tool knowledge inside of the testing team (Test Team, Business, Engineers, etc.)
§ -Gain and define required Test Data
§ -Manage a team of Automation Specialists, Test Design Specialist and Automation Engineers
§ -Provide demonstrations of automation and testing tools in pilot environment
§ -Provide status reporting to project leadership and client leadership
§ -Client and project specific reporting
Skill profile
§ -Master degree in software/system engineering, software architecture, computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or similar; or equivalent
§ -At least 5 years of test manager and several years of practical test automation experience with Tosca
§ -Excellent knowledge of test automation, testing tools and test processes (Agile Development, V-Modell, preferred ISTQB certification)
§ -Excellent knowledge of test concepts and methodologies
§ -Experience with software delivery project management
§ -Comprehensive knowledge in SW development (e.g. C++, Java, C#) and databases (PL/SQL, Oracle) or extensive SAP experience
§ -Good knowledge of SOA architecture, Data protocols/Transport protocols, service test methodologies and virtualization concepts
§ -Good knowledge of SOA Testing metrics and Virtualization metrics
§ -Solid experience in understanding and practicing build management and continuous Integration
§ -Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills
§ -Ability to explain complex technical issues
§ -Intercultural skills, team spirit and willingness to cooperate
§ -Flexibility and willingness to travel
