Role: Data Scientist
Type: 12 month contract
Location: Onsite 5x/week in Longueuil, QC
Rate: $48-$53/hr
JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Data Scientist to join a leading aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. The Data Scientist will support and evolve a key enterprise initiative, with the opportunity to expand impact across additional business and AI initiatives. This role is hands-on, technical, and strongly embedded with the business. You will work on production-grade machine learning solutions, focusing on explainability, model robustness, performance optimization, and scalable delivery. This role is 5x week onsite in Longueuil, QC.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, with 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Science and Machine Learning
• Experience with Python, Databricks, and AWS or similar
• Proven experience delivering production-grade ML solutions in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable models and insights
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Prior experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
• Experience with explainability frameworks and model robustness techniques
• Certifications (AWS, Databricks)
• French is an asset
