About The Role
We are seeking a Data Science Intern to support our clients, contribute to product development, and work on AI use cases. You will work under the guidance of experienced Data Scientists and utilise their skills to analyse data, develop machine-learning models, and identify patterns in large datasets. You will gain hands-on experience in the field of Data Science and contribute to projects that will provide valuable insights and solutions for our clients.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with the product and Data Science teams to identify business needs and define project goals and objectives. Assist with analysing data, statistical analysis, and the development of machine learning models. Assist in designing and conducting experiments and simulations to discover patterns, trends, and insights in data. Participate in team meetings and discussions, share progress updates, and provide suggestions for improving project outcomes. Participate in the data preparation process, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and data transformation. Research new data sources, technologies, and techniques to improve the quality and accuracy of data analyses and models. Engage in company-organised training programs, learning opportunities, and sessions to improve skills in the Data Science field. Maintain confidentiality and security of the client's data and information
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields. Experience in data science through professional work, academic coursework, or completed data science projects. Ability to translate mathematical and data science ideas into Python snippets. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms. Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively and critically analyze data to identify trends and insights. Effective verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
