Role Description This is a full-time role for a Data Platform Engineer specializing in Kafka, Airflow, and Spark, based on-site in Dubai. The Data Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data platforms, ensuring their efficiency, stability, and scalability. Key responsibilities include building pipelines for data ingestion using Kafka and Airflow, managing and optimizing distributed data processing with Spark, troubleshooting infrastructure and software issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for technology integration. Qualifications • Strong skills in Troubleshooting and identifying issues within data platforms and related technologies • Expertise in Software Development and Programming, particularly in working with big data frameworks such as Spark and Kafka • Experience with Infrastructure management, including distributed systems • Knowledge of Databases and database management systems • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Previous experience with distributed computing and large-scale data platforms is preferred
