We are looking for a _**Data Migration specialist (SQL) - Intermediate **_(full-time role)
- **Requirements**:_
- A bachelor’s degree in IT or MIS related or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of SQL development experience in related position with MS SQL Server 2016 & 2019
- 2-3 years of DBA experience (ideally MS SQL Server 2016 & 2019)
- Experience in data modeling is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with data conversion concepts
- Thorough understanding of system design & analysis, acceptance testing, user training, and performance improvement
- A positive “Can Do” attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Leading the data migration effort for new client projects from Project Initiation through to the completion of development and transition into Maintenance
- Working with both the PM and BA on planning and management of data migration work items
- Facilitating sessions with the client on data migration requirements and design sessions
- Investigating and understanding client’s database structure
- Working on and documenting mapping tables from the legacy system to target system.
- Creation and validation of data migration scripts
- Organizing database tasks in a project
