Data Management and Business Intelligence Analyst - Doha, Qatar
We are seeking a Data Management and Business Intelligence Analyst to join a dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. This role is residential and is initially offered as a one-year contract with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing business processes, managing data, and generating actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
Experience and Skills
• Minimum eight years of experience in a business environment, with strong exposure to business process and data analysis, ideally within large-scale industrial projects.
• Proficient in data mining, data cleaning, data transformation, and applying statistical and analytical methods to derive insights from large datasets.
• Experience in building and implementing data models, algorithms, and simulations.
• Expertise in data visualisation and reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Python, or similar platforms, including web services and cloud-based tools.
• Familiarity with master data object definitions and models is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of business process analysis, modelling, optimisation, workflow automation, and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience in documentation and diagramming of business processes, including entity relationship diagrams, workflow diagrams, and process diagrams.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and business process management.
• Expert proficiency with MS Office suite, MS SharePoint, and data visualisation platforms such as Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to analyse datasets.
• Perform data mining, cleaning, and transformation.
• Create dashboards, visualisations, and reports to communicate business insights.
• Design and manage data warehousing structures.
• Support business process analysis, workflow design, and automation.
• Conduct statistical analysis and risk assessment.
• Perform database programming using SQL and support software engineering tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver actionable solutions.
