Job Title: Data Entry – Information Technology

Pay Rate: Up to $20.50 per hour
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Position Overview
A healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry – Information Technology professional to support laboratory operations during a major system go-live. This role is critical to ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance during the implementation of a new laboratory information system.
Key Responsibilities
• Validate microbiology and serology data during system implementation
• Accurately enter, review, and verify laboratory results in enterprise systems
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies
• Collaborate with laboratory and IT teams to ensure data accuracy
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and system data
• Perform routine data audits and quality assurance checks
• Work independently while meeting established deadlines
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior data entry experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role
• Experience with laboratory information systems
• Familiarity with EPIC Beaker or similar platforms
