About Company Our client is a technology and research driver in Singapore, playing a critical role in advancing tech capabilities across industry and the public sector. They are seeking a Data Engineer to build and operate trusted, secure, and analytics-ready data platforms that power AI innovation, and enterprise-wide decision-making across the organisation. Roles & Responsibilities • Design and deliver secure, scalable data pipelines and analytics-ready data marts using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake to support enterprise reporting and national-level initiatives. • Ensure data platforms comply with public-sector governance, security, and regulatory standards, including IM8 and PDPA. • Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines for data ingestion, validation, and deployment, with metadata and lineage integrated into enterprise catalogues such as Alation. • Partner with analytics, AI, and IT teams to operationalise insights responsibly, while mentoring engineers and strengthening enterprise data engineering standards. Key Requirements • 8–10 years of experience in data engineering or data platform roles, with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Azure Data Factory. • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in orchestration and automation tools such as Airflow or dbt. • Strong understanding of data modelling, cloud data warehouse architecture, and secure data delivery in regulated environments. • Prior experience in public sector or highly regulated industries, with working knowledge of IM8, PDPA, or equivalent governance frameworks.
