Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Engineer specializing in ETL and Streaming technologies, based in Dubai. The Data Engineer will design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines including ETL processes, build and manage data models, and support data warehousing and analytics initiatives. Daily tasks include working on tools like Kafka, Airflow, Spark, and engaging in advanced data engineering practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability and performance.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Data Engineering, including Kafka, Spark, and Airflow
• Strong skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
• Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes
• Competence in Data Analytics and creating actionable insights
• Understanding of best practices in data pipeline development and optimization
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative and fast-paced on-site environments
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience in cloud platforms and big data technologies is a plus
