• *Here is a little window into our company**:Aspire Software is the operating division of Valsoft and is currently looking for a Branding & Communications leader to join the team. In this role, you will be given the authority to control and oversee the maintenance and building of the Aspire Software brand. We're looking to tell our story to both an internal and external audience therefore the key responsibility is communications. We want someone who isn't shy to speak their mind, express an opinion and has that entrepreneurial DNA in them.

You will be working with a group of highly motivated and driven leaders that work in a fast-paced environment as we continue to grow
• **What your day will look like**:
- Collaborate with internal team to deliver on communications strategies and goals
- Review and edit instructional content for plain language principles
- Respond to public inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate and manage internal communication channels
- Research and book appropriate venues for in-person or virtual events
- Coordinate event logistics and serve as primary point of contact for events
- Research and recommend third-party industry and educational events for the company
- Booking business and personal travel as required
- Writing comprehensive itinerary for both personal and business travel
- Managing personal errands for executives and family members as required
- Adhoc tasks such as ordering lunches, making restaurant reservations
- Overseeing and managing tasks related to property management
- Supporting the Marketing & Communications team with internal events as required
- Organizing after hour events on occasion
• *About you**:
- Having a proactive and resourceful approach to your work - you're a natural problem solver with an ability to think on your feet and propose alternative solutions. Excellent organization, time management, and both written and verbal interpersonal skills.
- Acute attention to detail - you're extremely organized, with a knack for noticing and remembering the small stuff.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing personal as business tasks
- Must be flexible to work out of core hours on occasion
- A strong proficiency with outlook and MS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior event planning/operations experience is required
- 5 years' experience in a similar role
- A valid driver's license and a vehicle (there will be job related tasks requiring transit in and around the Montreal and surrounding areas)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
