Develop and implement strategies for the effective use of cloud technology at UCLA.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing to inform strategy development.
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their needs and align cloud solutions accordingly.
Conduct research and analysis to identify areas where cloud technology can be utilized to improve university operations.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with cloud implementation and devise mitigation plans.
Create and maintain documentation of cloud strategies, policies, and procedures.
Train and educate university staff on the benefits and best practices of cloud computing.
Monitor and track the usage and performance of cloud solutions and make recommendations for optimization.
Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of cloud solutions.
Act as a liaison between the university and external partners for cloud-related initiatives.
Stay current with industry standards and compliance regulations related to cloud computing.
Stay informed on budget and resource constraints and make strategic recommendations accordingly.
Communicate progress and updates on cloud strategies to relevant stakeholders and management.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the cloud computing team.
