Job Description Our federal government client is seeking the services of an experienced Cloud Platform Analyst to join their team. This is a 2-year remote contract with 3 optional periods. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Assisting with options analysis and recommending cloud adoption strategies tailored to both AWS and Azure platforms for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud solutions. Implementing solutions to validate recommended strategies, leveraging AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies such as Docker. Preparing and analyzing detailed application requirements, including resource sizing, technical dependencies, interfaces, performance metrics, and redundancy. Configuring and optimizing IaaS cloud services, such as AWS EC2 and Azure Virtual Machines, and implementing security controls to ensure compliance with the Government of Canada requirements Configuring and optimizing PaaS cloud services, such as AWS API Gateways, AWS CloudFront, Azure Storage, Azure API, etc, and implementing security controls to ensure compliance with Government of Canada requirements. Developing and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud development environments using tools compatible with both AWS and Azure ecosystems. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud support, tenant operations and delivery of Platform Services 7+ years of experience assisting with options analysis and recommending cloud adoption strategies tailored to both AWS and Azure platforms for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud solutions Secret clearance
