Cloud Engineering Lead (AWS)
We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Engineering Lead to architect, build, and scale our AWS ecosystem. This role combines high-level strategy with deep technical execution, focusing on automation, security, and mentoring a high-performing engineering team.
Core Responsibilities
• AWS Architecture: Own the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS solutions.
• Engineering Leadership: Mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of DevOps excellence and continuous learning.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Drive automation using Terraform (Enterprise), GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible for consistent, repeatable deployments.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a technical advisor to internal and external partners, aligning cloud capabilities with business objectives.
• Governance & Security: Build and enforce guardrails that meet CIS Benchmarks and AWS security best practices.
• Efficiency & Automation: Develop frameworks using Lambda, Step Functions, and SSM to eliminate manual toil and improve reliability.
Requirements
• Experience: 5+ years in Cloud Engineering; 2+ years in a formal leadership or lead capacity.
• AWS Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC). AWS Certification is highly preferred.
• Automation Stack: Proficiency in Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Security Mindset: Practical experience implementing cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Communication: Proven ability to translate complex technical roadmaps into actionable insights for stakeholders.
