Cloud Engineer - Azure
As an Azure Engineer you will design, implement, and optimize our Azure-based solutions. As a key member of our IT team, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our Azure cloud infrastructure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Azure Solution Design and Implementation
• Design, architect, and implement scalable and reliable Azure solutions based on business requirements.
• Lead the development and deployment of Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure services into existing systems and applications.
• Infrastructure Optimization and Performance Management:
• Conduct regular performance assessments of Azure environments, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce Azure governance policies and compliance standards.
Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 1 years of specific experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions.
• Proven track record of leading successful Azure projects from conception to delivery.
• Managed and operated critical infrastructure in a hosted environment.
• Solid experience with enterprise operating systems, primarily Windows Server 2016
• Practical experience with device and application monitoring tools (ex: Site24x7, New Relic, CloudWatch)
• General knowledge of web application hosting, everything from load balancing to database management
• Experience installing and managing common database applications
