Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Cloud Consultant to support the implementation, management, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring cloud systems are secure, high-performing, cost-efficient, and aligned with organizational standards. The Cloud Consultant will work closely with IT and development teams, provide operational support, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to maintain robust cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure Management • Assist in designing, deploying, and configuring cloud environments, including virtual machines, containers, and serverless platforms. • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, including networking, security, and access controls. Collaboration & Integration • Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud-based applications with infrastructure and services. • Support solution designs to align with IT policies, guidelines, and technical requirements. Vendor & Stakeholder Management • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations, timely issue resolution, and adherence to SLAs. Support & Advisory • Provide guidance and support to users on cloud-related issues, best practices, and usage. • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and assess potential impact on the organization. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain IT architecture artifact repository. • Document cloud configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training. • Prepare reports and provide updates to the relevant IT leads. Job Requirements Education & Experience • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure support, with exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Skills & Knowledge • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as code, serverless computing, containerization, and microservices. • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2). • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. • Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements. Certifications (Optional but Advantageous) • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, or equivalent certifications.
