Role Overview
The Cloud Architect (Solution Design) is responsible for designing, governing, and delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned to business and technology strategy.
This role bridges business requirements and technical execution, translating complex needs into robust cloud architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
The role works closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, future-ready, and compliant.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
Strong experience designing cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP (minimum one, preferably multi-cloud)
Solid understanding of:
Cloud networking and security
Containers and Kubernetes
Microservices and API-based architectures
Integration patterns and middleware
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
Architecture & Design
Proven experience in solution architecture and design
Ability to create architecture artefacts (HLDs, LLDs, diagrams, design documents)
Experience working in enterprise and consulting environment
