We are seeking an experienced Close Protection Agent to join our protective services team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive executive and close protection experience and the required security licenses for California (Guard Card, Exposed Firearms Permit, CA CCW).
Responsibilities
• Provide close protection and security for executives and high-profile individuals.
• Conduct threat assessments, route planning, and advance site surveys.
• Maintain high situational awareness and respond effectively during dynamic situations.
• Coordinate with internal security teams, corporate staff, and external agencies.
• Ensure safe transportation of principals and maintain vehicle readiness.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and a professional appearance at all times.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
Required Qualifications
• Active CA Guard Card, Exposed Firearms Permit, CA CCW license
• 8+ years of executive/close protection experience
• Experience working with executives, high-net-worth individuals, or government officials
• Strong understanding of protective security operations and threat mitigation
• Excellent physical fitness and defensive tactics proficiency
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior military, federal, or law enforcement protective experience
• EMT or medical first responder certification
• Defensive/evasive driving training
• Additional state security licenses or certifications
• Graduation from a reputable Executive Protection program and/or equivalent training
Work Schedule
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours
• Domestic and occasional international travel may be required
