Idea Theorem is looking for a Senior UI UX Designer to create simple and usable experiences for millions of Canadians.
As part of the team, you will be working on creating user experiences that drive revenue and customer retention. You will be part of creating strategy, research, design, and technical innovation. You will play a pivotal role in helping to build empathy.
Contract - 6 Months & Full Time Roles
Responsibilities:
6+ years of relevant professional scaled design experience
You are able to conduct primary and secondary user research.
Conducting and evaluating quantitative and qualitative research, including interviews with research participants to gather insights and data regarding user experiences.
Planning and implementing user research strategies and methodologies.
Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
Perform usability tests with consumers.
Qualifications:
Experience:
6+ years of hands-on UX Research
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Up to date with the latest modern design thinking practices, artifacts, and principles
Expert practical knowledge of User-Centered Design principles
A solid foundation in typography, layout and design
Deep understanding of design patterns along with the openness and curiosity to be proven wrong by data
Solid track record of shipping amazing customer experiences, with elegant and simple UX UI that delivers business results.
Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, creative and strategic mind and execution tactics, and continually improving on the status quo.
