A full-time social worker opportunity is available at a Chicago-area school serving students in grades 6 through 8. This onsite role offers consistent Monday through Friday hours from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, working directly with a student caseload of 35.
Key responsibilities include delivering direct and consult minutes to support student needs, gathering and analyzing data for progress reports, and completing all required IEP paperwork for Annual Reviews as well as Initial and Reevaluation Meetings. The position plays a vital role in ensuring students receive tailored support aligned with their individualized education plans.
Qualifications and desired experience:
• PEL with School Social Worker endorsement required
• Proven experience working with middle school students (grades 6-8)
• Strong familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and compliance
• Ability to efficiently manage a caseload and maintain detailed records
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with families, educators, and support staff
