Career Progression: This role offers strong growth opportunities within an early-stage startup Commencement: From January 2026 Company Overview Tranding is a Singapore-based Marketing Technology (MarTech) startup providing a mobile platform that enables brick-and-mortar businesses to acquire customers through performance-based affiliate marketing and word-of-mouth referrals. The Tranding platform supports businesses across F&B, beauty, wellness, retail, and services by enabling them to activate customers and everyday social media users as affiliates, track referrals and voucher redemptions, and pay commissions only when real transactions occur. The end-to-end process — including campaign setup, attribution, redemption tracking, and payouts — is managed through the Tranding mobile app. Role Purpose This role is designed for career conversion candidates, particularly individuals who are digitally savvy, familiar with social media platforms, and interested in transitioning into a commercial, client-facing role within a technology-enabled SME. Tranding is especially open to candidates who are: • Early in their commercial careers, or • Transitioning from non-sales or non-marketing roles, and • Comfortable with digital platforms, social media, and online content While the role is fully remote, it involves a strong on-ground business development component, including door-to-door visits to retail businesses to introduce and pitch the Tranding mobile app. Structured guidance and on-the-job training will be provided to support skill development in sales, account management, and platform-based marketing. Key Responsibilities A. Business Development & Sales (Primary Focus) • Identify and engage prospective brick-and-mortar businesses across various sectors • Conduct outreach via phone calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, and in-person visits to retail premises • Perform door-to-door pitching, introducing Tranding to business owners and managers • Demonstrate and showcase the Tranding mobile app • Explain affiliate marketing concepts and how customer referrals drive sales • Present Tranding’s pay-per-sale commercial model and its benefits • Maintain records of leads, follow-ups, and onboarding progress B. Account Management & Platform Support • Support newly onboarded businesses with campaign setup and activation • Act as a point of contact for brands and affiliates regarding platform usage • Assist with daily user, brand and billing queries • Monitor campaign activity and provide basic performance observations • Escalate technical issues or feedback to internal teams Skills & Competencies • Comfortable using social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) • Interest or basic familiarity with affiliate marketing, referrals, or digital promotions • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Comfortable engaging business owners through face-to-face interactions • Willingness to learn sales processes, marketing concepts, and platform operations • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote working environment • Open to coaching, structured training, and feedback Prior formal experience in sales or marketing is not required. Training & Development The candidate will receive structured exposure and on-the-job training in: • Business development and door-to-door sales techniques • Client communication and relationship management • Affiliate and performance-based marketing fundamentals • Social media–driven customer acquisition concepts • Platform operations, campaign workflows, and user support • Understanding transaction flows, commission calculations, and payouts This role provides a clear pathway for career conversion into business development, sales, or account management roles within a technology-enabled SME.
