CAD DESIGNER – WATER/WASTEWATER

THE POSITION:
WaterEngineers, Inc. is accepting resumes for a CAD Designer position to prepare construction plans, fabrication plans, exhibits & diagrams for water supply and wastewater treatment projects within the State of Texas. Preferred 2-5 years of experience - 2D Drafting Only / Civil, Utility, Water & Wastewater Experience Only - Local Applicants only - NO contract or Staffing Agencies
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Strong PC skills, Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2008 (and newer)
• Understand and adhere to established company standards for drafting including layer names, line types, text styles, dimension styles, & sheet set manager
• Experience with utilities, piping & surveys a plus
• Effective communication skills.
• Self-starter
• Ability to work interdependently within a team environment
• Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project/client needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Salary (FT only) – based on education and experience – 90 day Probationary Period
• Simple IRA with matching (after 90 day probationary period)

• 120 hours PTO, additional 40 hours after 3 years.
• 9 Paid Holidays + 1 Floating Holiday
• Bonus (Quarterly based on performance/profits)
