The Family Office Security Associate Manager will oversee security operations at multiple private residences, ensuring the safety and security of principals, family members, guests, staff, and properties. This role demands strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage a security team while upholding discretion and professionalism. Your Responsibilities: • Lead and manage residential security teams for an executive family, ensuring thorough training and optimal performance of all personnel. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with private family office members and key partners for coordinated security operations, alignment with household protocols, and effective communication of security needs. • Incorporate principal preferences into the design and execution of security operations across multiple estates. • Liaise with principals, family office staff, vendors, and internal partners. • Create, implement, and enforce security protocols that maintain a secure environment. • Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions. • Collaborate with Protective Intelligence, Security Systems, and relevant stakeholders to identify and implement top-tier security solutions. • Supervise and coordinate responses to security incidents, emergencies, and potential threats. • Engage with law enforcement, emergency services, and private security firms as necessary. • Provide protective services for principals and family members, ensuring a seamless security presence. • Hold vendors accountable to agreed SLAs and KPIs that you help establish. • Develop strategies and implement security solutions for rental properties and future estate acquisitions. • Conduct training and drills for the security team to improve preparedness and response times. • Ensure all team members uphold confidentiality agreements and maintain high professionalism. • Maintain knowledge of embedded medical programs within family offices for effective integration of response protocols. What We Look For: • Experience in a private family office environment. • Experience in high-net-worth or executive protection roles. • Prior leadership experience in security management. • Strong knowledge of security systems, access controls, and emergency procedures. • Excellent situational awareness, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. • Capability to remain calm and decisive under high-pressure situations. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • High physical fitness level and ability to perform security tasks as needed. • Background check and security clearance may be required. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in private security, law enforcement, military, or related fields. • Certifications like Executive Protection Training, CPR/AED, First Aid, or similar. • In-depth understanding of the Private Family Office structure. • Familiarity with cyber and physical security measures. Position ID: P71345 Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on the work location, the target annual salary for this position is $154,000. Full-time offers from Coinbase will also include bonus and equity eligibility, along with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
