Senior PostgreSQL Database Engineer Percona Support is a global team of elite engineers who love getting to the bottom of weird and interesting database behavior. Responsibilities: • Help our customers' DBA teams when they need expert assistance with high complexity problems. • Gather relevant data and investigate issues to provide a detailed analysis of your findings in a digestible format by email, instant message, or voice. • Perform screen-sharing sessions to help them quickly navigate and resolve issues. Requirements: • Deep, hands-on, expert knowledge of PostgreSQL, including PostgreSQL provided tools and contributor modules. • Proficient with the wider PostgreSQL ecosystem of tools and technologies, such as pgvector, repmgr, barman, pglogical, Patroni, pgBouncer, and similar/related tools. • Experience with performance tuning, including server configuration, query optimization, and table and index tuning.
