My client is a global investment firm with more thabn twenty offices worldwide with over $28 billion under its amnagement. Due to recent success , they are looking for a high calibre engineer to join their IT team in Hong Kong to provide innovative solution to its compliance and regulatory team.
Job Overview
• Partner with compliance officers, traders, and technologists to understand complex business requirements and translate them into scalable, high-performance applications.
• Develop and maintain systems that support pre- and post-trade compliance, regulatory reporting, and trade surveillance, ensuring accuracy and reliability in a fast-moving environment.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of new platforms, balancing feasibility, stability, scalability, and time-to-market to deliver best-in-class solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement by adopting modern development practices, tools, and frameworks, while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
Job Requirement
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Deep hands on experiences in C# required.
• Strong experience writing and optimizing production SQL queries.
• Experience with React and CSS.
• Exposure to Python and AWS is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and DevOps techniques (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code) is a plus.
• Financial industry experience is a plus.
