Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements.
• Conduct data mapping and analysis to support system integration efforts.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support project delivery.
• Create structured plans and roadmaps (“plan for a plan”) to guide sequencing and execution.
• Navigate complex legacy systems (“peeling the layers of spaghetti”) to identify dependencies and integration points.
• Proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Manage expectations across cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Support process navigation and ensure alignment with organizational standards and compliance.
• Provide domain and functional expertise in standard banking operations and technology.
Qualification:
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Proven experience in banking domain; experience with City National Bank is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with integration projects and legacy system analysis.
