Responsibilities
• Develop and oversee the strategy for big data and AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Manage the design, development, and implementation of big data and AI solutions to drive business insights and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where big data and AI technologies can add value and solve complex problems.
• Oversee the collection, storage, and governance of large datasets, ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define cases, KPIs, and success metrics for big data and AI projects.
• Ensure cost-effective use of big data platforms and AI solutions while maximizing ROI for the organization.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance big data and AI capabilities.
• Develop frameworks and processes for data quality management, model validation, and ethical AI practices.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in big data, AI, or data analytics roles, with at least 3 years in a management position.
• Deep understanding of big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience in building and deploying machine learning models and working with cloud- based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and lead cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
