Partime 20 hours per week job Job Description: Supports product development execution and serves as an interface with Design teams. Enters, compiles and analyzes costs for all styles and highlights discrepancies. Supports sampling/prototypes processes and protocols by tracking concept samples and working with mills and vendors to ensure on time delivery of samples. Responsibilities: Support product development from concept through pre-production across multiple categories. Track and manage samples using Smart Sheets; open sample packages and provide clear feedback. Assist with packaging tasks and general sample-related responsibilities. Track concept samples to ensure timely delivery in partnership with mills and GIS teams. Compile and analyze cost data for all styles; highlight discrepancies and support cost negotiations. Attend internal vendor meetings, document sample feedback, and facilitate cost discussions. Maintain accurate data in Centric PLM, Smart Sheet, and Global Assort systems. Follow and enforce high BOM (Bill of Materials) protocols. Coordinate with GIS (overseas sourcing) teams; no external vendor communication required. Manage competing deadlines, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion aligned with development calendars. Required Skills: 1–2 years of experience in Product Development, Vendor Management, or Costing in the apparel industry. Strong proficiency in Centric PLM, Smart Sheets, and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal teams. Proactive, quick learner with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Nice to Have: Experience working with GIS or global sourcing partners. Familiarity with Global Assort system. Knowledge of apparel construction or production timelines. Understanding of BOM management and costing frameworks.
