Company: One of Our Clients Role- Azure Technical Architect Location- Houston, TX Job Type- Full Time (Permanent) The Technical Architect: • Develops and maintains the high-level logical and physical design and model for the overall platforms, systems, applications, data and infrastructure architectures. • Provides technical leadership across the organization, from top line decision making down to the project planning level. • Influences and gains commitment for high-level infrastructure and application solutions. • Initiates and participates in projects to evaluate technologies and methods of implementation. • Responsible for the end to end architectural solution for applications with various level of complexities. • Supports and aligns with the Enterprise Architecture vision and strategies. • Accelerates and supports Chevron Digital Innovation and Acceleration Program. Scope of Work Examples: • Strategic Architects – Forward looking, R&D driven, look at industry and Chevron trends, work in future mode and provide general guidance (via white papers, position papers, etc.) for specific technologies • Enterprise Architects - Receive information from the strategic architects, see where new technology can be applied to specific business strategies, ensure Chevron is making the right investments, identifies the gaps and business opportunities in the business to which they are attached, and works within the business to develop a sustainable deployment strategy e.g. roadmap Technical Architect with 10+ years of experience: • Develop the current state and propose future state of the logical/physical system architectures and data models. • Strong ability to articulate the value proposition of the new technologies and strategies. • Lead implementation of new technical architecture. • Coordinates technical environments and technology evaluations. • Influences and builds consensus within the technical arena and advocates alternatives. • Leads multidisciplinary and multi-organizational planning projects. • Recognizes technology opportunities and generate viable strategies. • Defines regulations, standards, policies and codes. • Familiar with Agile Scrum and SAFe frameworks. • Experience with cloud-based architecture, data management and integration, event management, IoT solutions • Experience with Microsoft Azure stack About Net2Source, Inc.
