Akkodis is seeking an Azure API Developer for a Contract with a client in San Francisco, CA/ San Ramon, CA. Candidate must have extensive experience building microservices on AKS and managing existing Angular/.NET applications throughout their lifecycle.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Azure API Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and deploy modern cloud‑native applications using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure App Services, and Azure Functions.
Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot legacy enterprise applications built with Angular, C#, .NET Core, MVC, ASP.NET, WebForms, REST APIs, OAuth2.0, and related technologies.
Modernize legacy .NET applications by re‑architecting them into microservices and migrating workloads to AKS or Azure App Services.
Configure and monitor application performance using Azure Monitoring and other observability tools to ensure reliability and scalability.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert for technology platforms and asset‑management applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation while communicating effectively with senior management and ensuring alignment across teams.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of professional experience in .NET application development, modernization, and Azure cloud‑based architectures.
Strong hands‑on expertise in C#, .NET Core, Angular, REST APIs, and cloud‑native development on Azure (AKS/App Services) as required by the client.
Proficiency in modernizing legacy applications, implementing microservices, and monitoring performance through Azure Monitoring per client expectations.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
