Location: London (Oxford Street) | Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week
Salary: £45,000 PA
Technologies: Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript
We are on the lookout for a skilled Automation Testing Engineer who is excited about creating robust automation frameworks for complex, customer-facing platforms. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on building automation capabilities from the ground up and has a passion for influencing best practices within engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Create automated test solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and reliable.
• Define and promote automation best practices across the team.
• Work closely with engineers to integrate quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of testing processes and tools.
Key Skills and Experience:
• Strong experience with automation using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proven ability to build automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Deep understanding of scalable test architecture and maintainable test design.
• Familiarity with API automation is beneficial.
• Experience in mobile automation using Appium is a plus.
• Knowledge of Hybris testing is helpful but not required.
