Join our Team Automation, AI/ML for Open RAN integrations Co-Op Position Location: Ottawa, ON Canada Duration: Co-op/Intern 16 Months Start Date: May 4, 2026 Accepting applications until February 27, 2026 or until filled. What you will do: • RAN Operations: Assist in the deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of RAN nodes and functions • Automation Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of automation scripts to streamline operations • AI Integration: Participate in AI-driven use-cases, including the automation of processes using AI agents and LLMs • Collaborative Projects: Work alongside team members on projects involving complex 5G feature testing and validation • Documentation and Reporting: Help in maintaining clear documentation and reporting of activities and results. The skills you bring: • 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent • Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, Master's, or PhD on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship • Be available to work 40 hours per week during the summer or Co-Op term • Proficiency in Python, with familarity in libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and SciPy • Familiarity with frameworks including scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras • Knowledge with tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly • Knowledge and experience in using LLM APIs, understanding of LLM-agents and AI agentic frameworks and RAG • Knowledge with Kubernetes, including Container Network Interface (CNI) • Linux knowledge and bash scripting skills • Keen interest in the RAN domain. Additional skills: • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, ML workflows, and Argo Workflows • Understanding of architectures such as CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers • Prior knowledge or experience in the RAN domain What happens once you apply?
