As an Associate QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure our product runs smoothly and meets customer needs. You’ll work on designing and implementing tests, triaging bugs, and defining corrective actions.
• *What You’ll Be Doing**
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• *Requirements**:
- An degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- A strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong technical background with clear understanding and/or some hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
