Co-Founder
About the Company Stealth-mode startup with experienced technical founders, currently in the product development stage. We are building an AI product with significant upside and are preparing for our first institutional and strategic fundraising. The company is focused on the Menlo Park and broader Peninsula ecosystem for investors, partners, and early talent.
Role Overview We are looking for a Co‑Founder who will take on the CEO role with a primary and near‑exclusive focus on fundraising and external representation. This role is centered on raising capital, shaping the company narrative, and being the public face to investors and strategic partners. Day‑to‑day product development and technical execution will remain with the technical founding team.
This is a true equity‑based co‑founder position. The expectation is full ownership of fundraising and investor relations, with the opportunity to formally hold the CEO title based on performance and alignment.
What You Have
Proven experience leading fundraising as a founder or senior executive.
Personally closed at least one institutional seed or Series A round, or a credible angel / syndicate round with reputable investors.
Strong understanding of startup financing, term sheets, cap tables, and investor expectations.
Ability to clearly articulate vision, market opportunity, and traction to investors.
Comfortable operating in a high‑ambiguity, early‑stage environment and representing the company externally.
What You Will Own
Full ownership of fundraising strategy and execution.
Building and refining the pitch, story, and investor materials.
Managing investor outreach, meetings, follow‑ups, negotiations, and closes.
Maintaining relationships with existing and prospective investors.
Acting as the primary external representative of the company to investors and key strategic stakeholders.
Note: This role is intentionally focused on fundraising and external leadership. Internal technical execution and product delivery are handled by the existing founding team.
