Electrical Assembler (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Houston, TX 77064
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.50 – $17.50/hr (DOE)
Job Summary
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential. Electrical Assemblers will perform a variety of assembly-related tasks using hand tools, machines, and test equipment to meet production, quality, and safety standards. Candidates must be open to cross-training across all assembly lines.
At least one candidate must be comfortable working on a computer and be willing to train on laser engraving and laser welding equipment.
Essential Responsibilities
• Assemble parts using hand tools, fixtures, and bench test equipment according to detailed instructions
• Follow established assembly processes to meet required quality and production goals
• Set up and operate machines where applicable
• Package finished products for shipping as required
• Follow all Quality policies, OSHA guidelines, and workplace safety regulations
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and the Near Miss program
• Train other employees on job functions and safety procedures as needed
• Remain up to date on required training (safety, 5S, QMS, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Supervisor

• Work overtime as required (Friday and Saturday based on business needs)
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills:
• Experience with electrical assembly and/or testing preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with good organizational skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to read, understand, and follow assembly, testing, and QMS procedures
• Basic computer skills required (laser engraver/welder training provided)
