Job Title: AI Delivery Specialist Location: Bank Muscat Head Office Department: Enterprise Project Management & Innovation Job Overview: The AI Delivery Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of AI projects and solutions. This role involves planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure successful outcomes. The AI Delivery Specialist will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-quality AI solutions that meet business needs. This role requires a strong understanding of AI, and the ability to manage complex projects. They should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. They should also be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Key Responsibilities: Planning: • Responsible for active planning for delivery • Ensures that work priorities and assumptions align with the project objectives • Minimizes opportunity for mistakes by building review time into plans • Creates a logical plan, realistic estimates, and reasonable schedule for an activity or project segment • Meets stakeholder expectations by ensuring that changes in scope or schedule are justified, covered financially, and agreed to by appropriate decision-makers • Ensure alignment with enterprise AI governance, data privacy, security, and risk policies Execution: • Properly documents and follows through on progress, issues, and agreements • Takes full responsibility when making decisions and taking action • Organizes and structures productive and efficient team meetings based on meeting objectives and format • Manages the budget • Stakeholder management Problem Solving: • Quickly identifies or isolates the root causes of issues or problems • Suggests options for resolving issues and improving the quality of work • Provides solutions to problems for their immediate team, and may provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams Risk Management: • Recognizes own limitations and asks for help when needed • Takes stakeholder risk tolerance into account when making decisions • Proactively mitigates risk by identifying potential pitfalls and creating strategies to avoid them • Mitigates risk by proactively preparing for objections and considering the stakeholders point of view • Ensures that implications of decisions are thought through and addressed Communication and Reporting: • Documents and communicates issues in an organized manner • Makes difficult ideas and concepts easy to understand • Communicates potential risks to stakeholders in a clear and constructive way • Is clear and direct when providing guidance, responding to questions, and setting expectations • Uses simple and easy-to-understand frameworks and formats to present information and ideas • Asks direct questions to seek a greater understanding of underlying assumptions and expectations • Adapts written and verbal communication style to fit audience needs and communication mediums Collaboration: • Shares own knowledge and/or expertise with others • Develops and consistently applies a naturally collaborative approach, being responsive and following through on commitments • Keeps others aware of own workload and potential conflicting commitments • Prepares for others’ reactions when responding to difficult situations • Embraces a diversity of ideas, working styles, and cultural backgrounds that are different from own • Is open to different or new viewpoints Learning & Development: • Seeks and responds to developmental feedback • Identifies ways for team members to better engage in knowledge-sharing and collaboration • Stay informed on AI delivery practices, tools, and emerging trends Qualifications: • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. • Experience in the banking or technology industries • Experience delivering AI / GenAI / ML solutions • Experience working with external AI or technology vendors • Strong project management skills and experience with methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Certifications (Preferred but not essential): • Agile certification • Project management certification • AI certifications
