Benefits: Competitive Pay: $21.23 + $5.95 (H&W Cash) = $27.18Recognition and Reward ProgramsTraining and Career DevelopmentMedical, dental, holidays, vacation, sick leave, and 401(k) retirement planUniform and equipment providedAdditional benefits may vary based on positionKey Responsibilities: Conduct patrols on foot or in a vehicle, ensuring the security of client facilities, public areas, and bus stops while watching for signs of damage, misuse, or theft.Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas within client facilities and rights-of-way.Engage routinely with the public, offering valuable information regarding the system and other essential details.Document and submit security reports, and assist investigators as necessary.Participate in Special Enforcement Unit activities, including fare inspections, passenger counts, and reporting.Respond promptly and effectively to all calls for assistance.Respect client culture and strive to maintain a positive brand image.Customer service excellence is paramount; treat all clients, employees, invitees, and guests with the utmost courtesy.Qualifications: Must possess an Exposed Firearms Permit for armed positions.Current Guard Card is required.A valid California Driver's License or State ID is mandatory.Must be prepared for emergency duties that may require physical stamina: standing or walking for a full shift, climbing stairs, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs., and running.Certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid/Baton/OC Pepper Spray are preferred.Successful completion of a 10-panel DOT required drug screen.Exemplary customer service skills are essential.Reliability and professionalism are vital attributes for this role.Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.At least 1 year of security experience is preferred.Founded in 1973, Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is a prominent US-owned security firm providing comprehensive solutions to government and commercial clients globally.
