Role Overview
We’re looking for an Applied AI Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on AI development experience to build and integrate industry-focused AI solutions across various sectors.
This role goes beyond research — you’ll implement AI solutions starting from chatbots and scale up to AI-powered agents and avatars, integrating them into real client systems and adapting their behavior to client-specific data and workflows.
Responsibilities
• Build and deploy AI chatbots as entry-level solutions for clients
• Progress to designing AI-powered agents and avatar-based assistants
• Integrate LLMs into web, mobile, and backend systems
• Adapt AI behavior using client-provided databases and industry knowledge
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Automate workflows and system triggers using N8N or similar
• Integrate real-time AI avatar interactions with LiveKit, Tavus, or similar
• Customize AI logic per industry and per client
• Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend teams
• Ship production-ready AI features in a SaaS environment
Skills
Qualifications
2+ years of applied AI development experience
Hands-on experience with:
• LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
• AI chatbots, conversational AI systems, and/or AI agents
• Prompt engineering & system instructions
Experience integrating AI with:
• APIs
• Databases
• SaaS platforms
Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python
• Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and RAG
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
• Experience with applied AI tools such as N8N, Tavus, LiveKit, or similar
• SaaS or multi-tenant system experience
• Exposure to regulated industries (medical or insurance)
• Experience with AI avatars or voice-based systems
