Role Purpose
The ERP Application Owner – Finance & Operations is responsible for owning, stabilizing, and continuously enhancing the ERP platform and related finance systems. This role supports wholesale, retail, inventory, and operational processes across multiple countries and serves as the single point of accountability for application performance and vendor delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage ERP modules covering purchasing, sales, finance, accounting, procurement, inventory, and warehousing
• Translate business and operational requirements into effective ERP solutions
• Manage ERP vendor(s), including scope definition, delivery management, SLAs, and issue resolution
• Own the ERP application roadmap, upgrades, enhancements, and change governance processes
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial and operational reporting
• Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations teams across multiple time zones
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Act as the functional owner of the ERP application (hands-on ownership, not a pure project management role)
Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 10 years of ERP experience within fashion wholesale and/or retail environments
• Strong understanding of seasonal business models and inventory-driven operations
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central; fashion-focused implementations preferred
• Strong functional expertise across finance and operations ERP modules
• Proven experience managing ERP vendors and external partners
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience working in multi-country, multi-entity organizations
