Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking a Application Developer - Hybrid Cloud Manage to join their team. As a Application Developer - Hybrid Cloud Manage, you will be part of the IT Solutions Department supporting federal government projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. Must hold a Secret level government clearance.
Job Title: Application Developer - Hybrid Cloud
MUST Have "Canadian Federal Government Clearance level 2 - Secret
Location: On-site work at Ottawa, ON
Pay Range: $85 - $95 (Incorporated + HST)
T4 Payroll option is also available with slightly lower rates.
What's the Job?
• Provide technical support and maintenance for complex applications within federal government projects.
• Design, build, and test new capabilities into existing applications and systems.
• Collaborate with solution architects and lead a team of developers and testers to execute project requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of application functionalities and technical interfaces with other systems.
• Ensure applications operate smoothly and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
What's Needed?
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in low-level programming and embedded systems, including C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with integration, interoperability, middleware development, and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of security principles, security by design, and federal security clearance requirements.
• Strong understanding of networking, communications protocols, and device driver development.
• Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and lead technical teams effectively.
