Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including other developers, architects, software engineers, Product owners & the QA team, you will help design, build & maintain Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), which serve as the vital communication channels allowing different software systems to interact seamlessly. You can also expect to be involved in the selection & integration of new API integration platforms. Responsibilities: • Collaboration with stakeholders throughout SDLC • Design, develop & implement secure RESTful APIs using Apigee Edge • Collaborate with solution architects & development teams to create scalable & secure API solutions • Write reusable, testable & efficient code in line with best practices • Configure & customise Apigee Edge policies, proxies, & components • Implement security measures & authentication mechanisms to protect APIs • Integrate APIs seamlessly into various applications • Troubleshoot integration issues to ensure smooth communication between systems • Implement monitoring & logging solutions to track API performance & optimise efficiency • Assess & implement optimisations to enhance the overall API ecosystem • Document APIs, including specifications, usage guidelines, & troubleshooting procedures • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, software engineers, architects, QA, & business stakeholders. Candidate Profile: Candidates should possess similar firsthand experience in API Gateway Development.
