Key responsibilities
As an APAC Artificial Intelligence Engineer and Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing AI-driven solutions for manufacturing excellence. Your responsibilities include:
• Research and evaluate AI technologies to identify opportunities that boost productivity and operational efficiency.
• Lead development of visual inspection and other AI algorithms to ensure high product quality and minimise defects.
• Build and implement AI proof-of-concepts (POCs) and manage end-to-end deployment of approved solutions.
• Define project requirements, plan strategies, and oversee execution of AI initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI and data solutions that improve customer experience and support strategic decision-making.
Candidate profile
To excel in this role, you will bring a strong technical background combined with effective communication skills and a passion for innovation. Key qualifications include:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning or data science roles within complex organisations.
• Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch; experience with computer vision techniques is highly desirable.
• Prior exposure to manufacturing or supply chain industries is advantageous for understanding sector-specific challenges.
• Excellent communication skills in Cantonese or Mandarin are essential for collaborating effectively across diverse teams.
