Role: Angular JS
Location: Montreal, Canada
Duration: 6+ Months / Fulltime
BGV will be done for the selected candidates.
The candidate will work as part of the Enterprise Resource Data Management group, building a real-time distributed asset inventory and configuration system with impact and dependencies analysis capability. This is an highly used system where users range from L1 support to upper management. Being part of an agile team, the candidate will have the opportunity on the back end, middle layer and on user interface using bleeding edge technology. For example, the data will be stored using a bleeding edge distributed triples store (RDF) database including advance search capabilities and a Google V8 JavaScript engine. Responsibilities will include:- Working closely with business analysts and users; help create requirements and mock-ups- develop new UI framework and application stack for a distributed real-time asset inventory and configuration manager Skills Required:- software engineering, analytical and problem solving skills- 3+ years? experience with at least 2 of the following: Java, HTML5, Angular JS and/or JavaScript- Track record of building, delivering and maintaining a UI applications- Strong fundamentals (multithreading, asynchronous programming)- Experience with cross-domain requests- Strong fundamental technology skills (OO design)- Good problem solving skills- Good communication skills are an essential part of working in a global team.- Comfortable working on a Unix/Linux environment Skills Desired:- cloud and/or distributed environments- RDF/SPARQL- Version control, preferably Git- Unit testing and unit testing frameworks- Knowledge and experience on agile software development practices
