Primary responsibility for the airworthiness, maintenance, administration and continual improvement of the site's Quality System in accordance with the latest Aviation regulatory and policy requirements. Ensure the site's understanding and compliance to the Quality System via training. Plan, lead and coordinate the Internal/external Audit schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct AD biweekly review from FAA & EASA and applicable NAA’s website and issue review report, update the AD monitoring database. Disseminate AD review status to appropriate department follow up.
• Provide Quality perspective and advise timely to support operational issues.
• Maintain internal audit system, conduct internal audit, monitor the progress of corrective actions for closure in QIR database system, file all the relevant audit documentation.
• Perform daily surveillance to ensure operational and maintenance carried out are in compliance with regulatory and company requirement.
• To Assist QM to facilitate CAAs, Customers, and OEMs’ authorised service facility audit activities.
• To assist QM to maintain and develop CAA Exposition Manuals, SOPs as well as any other Quality materials.
• Conduct sub-contractor audit, create and maintain an approved sub-contractors list, monitor issuance and closure of the corrective and preventive action plan, ensure records of all audit documentation are completed.
• Conduct vendor audit and evaluation as required.
• Build up and maintain a company authorisation records for all the certifying and supporting staffs, maintain/update the files of training records for each qualified staff.
• Assist QM for any external audit (CAAs’, Customers’ or OEMs’ audit) follow up, monitor the progress of corrective actions & closure etc to ensure that current quality program continues to be complied with regulatory agency & customers’ requirements.
• Facilitate investigation in any incident/accident/customers’ complaints, follow up internal reporting procedure and provide appropriate investigation report for Management for comments and approval.
• Support Training Manager to conduct CAA MOE training as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities are assigned by QM and Management.
How to thrive in this role?
• Minimum 5 years of aviation Part MRO 145 experience in relevant maintenance or engineering fields, 2 years of relevant quality assurance and audit experiences is necessary. CAAS SAR-66 or CAAS recognised Part-66 AML has desirable advantage.
• Holds a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification
• Conversant in general aviation legislation (CAAS, EASA, FAA, CAAC, etc.) regulatory requirement. Knowledge of industrial quality systems (ISO9001/AS9100) will be advantage.
• Attended Safety Management System (SMS) training and experience in SMS implementation
• Well verse in Microsoft programs (Words, Excel, Power-point, etc.) to create reports, meeting minutes and presentation. Knowledge of AI application will be advantage.
• Prepare to be active during wee hours when required.
