Designing, developing, and evaluating cutting-edge computer vision algorithms and models using deep learning techniques (CNNs, Transformers, etc.). Implementing and optimizing algorithms for real-time performance on various hardware platforms. Conducting research into novel approaches for image recognition, object detection, scene understanding, and video analysis. Collaborating with software engineers to integrate research prototypes into production systems. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in AI and computer vision through literature review and conference attendance. Developing and managing research datasets, including annotation and preprocessing. Writing research papers, technical reports, and patent applications. Presenting research findings to internal teams and external stakeholders. Contributing to the intellectual property portfolio of the company. Mentoring junior researchers and interns.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in computer vision, image processing, and pattern recognition. Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Experience with libraries like OpenCV, scikit-image, and other relevant computer vision tools. Solid understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics. Proven track record of research and publications in reputable conferences or journals is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple research projects effectively in a remote setting. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
